The Out of Position Elmsley Count (OPEC) is a false count, with a packet of cards designed to hide the second card from the top. Published by Ed Marlo, it is basically a reverse of the normal Elmsley count
The OPEC Count was devised as a way of being able to sequentially count a four-card packet (like the Elmsley Count) without having to shift a card prior to performing an Elmsley Count.
