Dr. Bob Escher (1941-2013) served as International President of the I.B.M. in 2001-02.
A retired orthodontist, he enjoyed performing close-up, parlor, and stage.
He had been a member of the I.B.M. for over three decades (inducted into the Order of Merlin in 2002). Escher served on numerous committees in the I.B.M. including the Ballot Committee, Convention Committee, Executive Committee, and the Endowment and Development Foundation Committee . He was Territorial V.P. for Kentucky for years, and served 20 years as president of Okito/Burton Ring 64.[1]
He also is a member of SAM Assembly 215 in Louisville.
Escher lost his battle with cancer after a seventeen years.
