Thomas Baxter (b.1955-d.2020) was a full-time professional mentalist. His acclaimed theater show, Thomas Baxter’s Thought Control (thoughtcontrol.ca), toured several months yearly. He also had many corporate clients.

He was a consultant for feature films (most notably Daredevil, The Santa Clause), television series (Discovery Channel's Grand Illusions: The Story Of Magic) and specials (such as The Magic of Canada, which he also wrote and appeared in), and live theater productions (World Of Wonders; The Cherry Orchard; Nutcracker; The illusion; Taming of the Shrew; Alice Through the Looking Glass).
His hobbies were sailing, studying classical guitar and woodworking. He posted frequently to the website Magic Cafe under the user name entity.
He and his wife Wenda made their home on Vancouver Island, Canada. Thomas died of leukemia in March 2020.
