The Spotlight was the first periodical produced by Stephen Patrick.
It was issued as an 8.5 x 11 mimeograph starting in January 1940. The second issue came out in March 1940. Number three was printed another twenty years later but Patrick decided not to mail. Instead he launched a new periodical called The Magical Bookie in April 1960.[1]
