Ian Baxter, born on November 22, 1946 in Brighton, Australia (near Melborne), started out as a piano tuner-technician and became a part-time professional magician.
In 1973, Baxter started the magazine Blueprint with his friend Barry Govan.
He has contributed to Tarbell Volume 7, Expert Card Mysteries, Wonders of Magic, Apocalypse, Genii and Pabular.
