George C. Foote (b.1882-d.1977), one of the leading growers in Upland, California, was an amateur magician who performed at clubs and parties.[1]

Biography

By 1930, he was living in Upland, California and was a life member of the IMC.[2] Soon after, he joined the Los Angeles Society of Magicians.

In the 1950s, he put out his "Improved Three Shell Game" using real walnut shells.

The editor of Genii magazine wished their long time subscriber a 94th happy birthday in the June 1976 issue. He was still living in Upland, California.[3][4]
