Rhode Island Society of Magicians, which was operating by 1908, evolved from The Providence Society of Magicians.[1]

It became was the first local chapter of the National Conjurers' Association in 1912.[2]

One of it's founding members was C. Foster Fenner.[3]

There is currently a Rhode Island Societies of Magicians.[4]
