Philip Breslaw (1726 - 1783) was a German magician that moved to London around the age of 35 in the 1760s.

Perhaps the first magician of note to feature mind reading when he played at the Haymarket Theatre in London in 1781. Breslaw also did tricks with cards, watches, rings, sleeve buttons, purses, swords, cards, dice and silver medals.

Houdini, in "Unmasking of Robert Houdin", quoted newspaper clippings in his collection, dated 1781, showing that Breslaw featured the "Cabalistic Clock" and demonstrations of "Second-Sight".
