Innovator: Magisches Magazin by Robert Kaldy-Karo and Michael Swatosch-Dore started in August of 1981 as their theater's informational magazine.

Then in from 1993 to 1999 they took over the Federal Magic Association's magazine Aladin which then became "Aladin & Innovator", second largest magic publication in the Germany.[1]
